Arrive at CMB International airport to be met & greeting by our staff, then board air-conditioned private vehicle and start driving towards Chilaw to begin exploring the Ramayana trail.

Our visits for the day will include a stop at the very famous ‘Munneswaram’ temple to witness the pooja ceremony depending on the time of visit and later another stop to visit the “Manavari’ temple in the same area.

Thereafter we drive through the local villages passing Kurunegala towards Dambulla to spend our first day at relaxation after reaching the hotel/resort.

2 DAY

DAMBULLA TO TRINCOMALEE & BACK

After enjoying an early breakfast we drive and stop to visit the ancient cave temple complex in Dambulla. Ending the visit we start a leisurely drive to Trincomalee to reach the area by lunch time.
A scenic drive in Trincomalee and then a drive through the Fort Fredrick complex to visit the magical location named ‘Thirukoneswaram’ which is very popular temple site amongst pilgrims who follow the legends of Ramayana. Spend time exploring the temple and its scenic area along with veneration and meditation of your choice for a while.
Ending the visit drive back to your hotel/resort in Dambulla to spend time at leisure. Ample time for exploring and photos will be allowed with complete flexibility.

DAY 3

 MATHALE TO  KANDY & SIGIRIYA

Breakfast at hotel and we check out to start driving to the hill capital Kandy. On our way stop at a spice & herbal garden to get an orientation tour exploring the various spices, herbs and oils found in the island which are used in cuisine and other applications such as wellness and therapy.

Proceeding towards Kandy we also stop to visit the Muthumariamman Temple in Matale followed by stops to visit various Gems, Handicraft and other traditional local shopping outlets in and around Kandy along with a scenic drive around Kandy.

Towards afternoon we check-in at hotel and later in the evening a trip to view the traditional folklore show (Dance show in Kandy) followed by a visit to the Temple of the holy tooth relic of Lord Buddha.

Return to hotel and spend time at leisure ending all sightseeing for the day.

DAY 4

KANDY TO NUWARA ELIYA VIA RAMBODAELLA

After having breakfast we embark on a scenic drive through the rolling hills and tea draped route to the central hills of the island. Our first halt will be to visit the Shri Bhakta Hanuman Temple in Ramboda followed by viewing the beautiful waterfalls in the area.
Pass the Ramboda tunnel and arrive to visit a Tea factory where you can witness the ‘Plant to Cup’ process.
Later arrive in Nuwara Eliya to check-in at hotel by afternoon and in the evening a scenic drive around Nuwara Eliya where we make a stop to visit the v Gayathri Amman Temple followed by stopping at the Lake Gregory recreation area for optional activities such as boating etc.
Return to hotel and enjoy the rest of the evening amidst the cool climes of Nuwara Eliya popularly referred as ‘Little England’
Dinner & Overnight in Nuwara Eliya.

DAY 5

UWARAELLIYA TO ELLA

Breakfast at hotel and check-out leisurely to start our drive today towards the scenic Ella area. Our first stop for the day will be at Seetha Amman Temple in the area famed as Ashoka Vathika, followed by continuation towards Ella where we stop to explore Divurumpola Temple the site famed as the place of oath (Agni Pariksha).

Arrive in Ella area and stop to walk around the olden days engineering marvel ‘Demodara loop’. Then a drive and visit to an iconic site of the island ‘The 9 Arches Bridge’ which was built in the 1920s and stand majestic and scenic.

Later check-in at hotel and spend time at leisure. Guests are free to walk around Ella enjoying the sampling of many locally operated eateries and coffee joints and shops selling varied local items in Ella.

6 DAY

ELLA TO GALLE

Early breakfast and we check out to travel towards Ravana Falls. According to ancient Rama Ravana story, King Rawana had abducted Princess Seeta and hid in a cave near this waterfall. The Rawana Ella Purana Raja Maha Viharaya and the Dova Purana Viharaya are located close to this waterfall. Beautiful, but very dangerous. Deep pits filled with water, slippery rocks, are abundant here.
Later start driving towards Galle via enjoying the scenic route with ample stops to explore the local lifestyles.
A Hotel/Resort close to beach will be your retreat for the night and spend time at leisure after check-in.

7 DAY

GALLE  SIGHTSEENING TO COLOMBO

After breakfast check-out and drive to visit the Temple site of Rumassala. According to folklores Rumassala Mountain is part of the Himalayan Range which Lord Hanuman brought to Sri Lanka to find medicinal herbs to heal Rama’s brother Lakshman who suffered near-fatally wounds in the epic battle.
Later drive and visit the ancient fort complex of Galle which dates back to the 1th century, ending joining the expressway to drive towards Balapitiya to take an optional stop to enjoy a boat ride over Madhu Ganga (River) followed by a stop to visit a Turtle conservation project in the Kosgoda area.
Arrive to check-in at your hotel to spend time at leisure. Dinner will be organized at a local restaurant in Colombo with a brief evening city drive.

8 DAY

COLOMBO   SIGHTSEENING TO AIRPORT

After breakfast check-out and enjoy a city drive around the old & modern sites of Colombo. Places of drive-by and stops will include; BMICH complex, Independence square, Colonial-style Town Hall, Replica of the Aukana Buddha Statue, Panchamuga Anjaneyar Temple, Green Path & Viharamahadevi Par where you can witness some beautiful Ceylon paintings. With some shopping stops based on time in hand. The final brief stop will be to visit the Kelaniya Raja Maha Viharaya before ending up at airport departure hall.
Drop off at CMB airport exit area ending tour. Have a safe flight
